How to Configure QR Code Scanner for Check-in

Check-in your guests, clients and participants by scanning a QR Code.

We have developed the QR Code Check-in function to work in Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android environments, using either a USB / Bluetooth scanner or the internal cameras on phones and tablets. 

Default Settings for your QR Code Scanner

Scanners are very different, and in testing we have found they all come with instructions that include QR Codes to scan and configure your device. Please set your scanner to the following:

• Keyboard Layout: USA
• Enter / Tab Suffix: Carriage Return
• Operation Mode: Realtime Mode

When using a USB or Bluetooth Scanner, there is no need to open the scan window inside Waiver Hub. As long as you are in the Waiver Hub, simply scan the guest's QR Code and it will open the waiver details and check-in the waiver.

NOTES:

• If your USB scanner is not communicating with your device, please make sure it is plugged directly into the computer and not into a USB hub or docking station. 
• When testing, the QR code you are scanning must be on a different device
